The Global Citizens Club’s focus for March was on Ireland. Students cut out Irish proverbs and images to decorate our bulletin board. The country spotlighted by the Global Citizens Club for December was Italy. Students researched Italy’s fine dining, fashion, landmarks, etc. and were in awe. They were eager to experience Italian cuisine for the December 16th holiday party. La Foresta in Wake Forest was the chosen restaurant. Students enjoyed an Italian buffet. The servers could not stop talking about how amazingly polite our students were and how willing they would be to host them again. It was truly an evening of fun and sharing of Italian facts and food.
